Marketing – Acquisition Manager

Florida’s best and largest Newspaper, the St. Petersburg Times, has an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced in analyzing consumer markets and effectively targeting customers for acquisition. Acquisition Manager is responsible for profitably converting non-subscribers to subscribers via targeted efforts. Candidate must possess five or more years of relevant marketing experience along with a track record of positive results. College degree preferred.

This position requires a strong team player who can effectively communicate and execute strategy. Leadership skills, prior experience managing direct reports, strong analytical ability, and excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required. Experience designing and executing marketing campaigns that include direct mail, telemarketing, email/ internet efforts, and statistical analysis/ research skills are also required.
