Ocean Tomo, the nation's leading intellectual property consulting firm, is seeking to hire a Market Research/Survey Associate for litigation for our Washington, D.C. office. We are experiencing rapid growth and have a need for high quality candidates seeking a rewarding career in consulting. We have high standards in which candidates who meet the right criteria can rapidly excel and grow within the firm. This is a new position and offers the opportunity to become an expert witness in the marketing research field. We will train and provide testifying opportunities for the right person.

Responsibilities:
•Design Surveys
•Write proposals
•Interface with high level clients and staff
•Oversee field data collection and manage fieldwork consultants
•Analyze survey results
•Write research reports
•Testimony at depositions and trial
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•PhD in market research oriented field
•Minimum of seven years market research experience
•MUST have survey design and management experience
•Ability to learn new concepts quickly
•Creative problem solving and analytical skills
•Strong writing and editorial skills
•Management experience
•Report writing experience
•Effective communication skills
•Experience in statistical analysis a plus

Must be results driven as well as have the ability to think independently while working as part of a team. Our consulting efforts are often in high profile cases making accuracy of thought and work product essential. Must also exhibit maturity, thoroughness, tenacity, resourcefulness, the ability for big picture conceptual thinking along with the ability for extreme detail.
