Market Development Analyst
Hours/Schedule: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM Description: Analysis - Develops and evaluates client metrics including; profitability, demographic & psychographic profiles and account ownership to develop predictive tools/models to assess behaviors including likelihood of attrition, likelihood of responding to a given product offering and profit potential. Evaluates attractiveness of potential new markets based on population characteristics and competitive environment. Develops tools for targeting prospective clients in new markets. Tracks program results on the backend in terms of response rates and overall relationship value.Program Development - Designs direct marketing programs for existing clients to achieve results in the areas of client retention, account activation, and product usage. Develops programs to attract new clients in the current markets. Develops programs to attract clients in new markets.Overseeing Program Execution - Works with other functional areas in the company, particularly Marketing, to ensure flawless execution of programs designed to enhance client profitability and attract new clients. Coordinates programs across multiple channels (direct marketing, direct sales and branches).Administrative - Attends meetings within department and cross-functionally. Contributes to overall corporate initiatives.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or Technical Field, MBA, or MS preferred. Minimum 5 years related experience in financial services company. Data-driven strategy development and direct marketing experience. Excel and Access skills. Proficient with pivot table functionality. Experience with statistical analysis software, particularly SAS.
