Quantitative Market Analyst Role
Principal Responsibilities:
Conduct and own detailed industry analysis (supply and demand cuts – regions, competitors, market segments, product groupings, time series, growth trends)
Develop competitive cost analysis (supply curves, variable and full cost estimates, regional analysis)
Emerging business analysis for polymer industry
Potential acquisition / project modeling
Qualifications and Competencies:Seeking a highly quantitative, proven individual experienced in analysis roles. Manufacturing, strategy consulting, and/or investment banking experience are preferred.
Education: A business or technical undergraduate degree is required. An MBA is preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years analytical work experience
Tremendous analytical capabilities
Microsoft Excel modeling expert (macros, pivot tables, filters, graphs, etc.)
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
High integrity
Drive for results
Change agent
Multi-task orientation
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Strong team player
Strong attention to detail
Advanced Excel/spreadsheet modeling skills
