MANAGER OF DEVELOPMENT

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation, a national not-for-profit foundation dedicated to raising & distributing funds to support veterinary medicine & advance the care of animals through disaster preparedness, is seeking a MANAGER OF DEVELOPMENT to direct fundraising activities.

This newly created position will be responsible for the overall fundraising activities of the AVMF including identifying & cultivating funding sources for operating & capital funds. Will develop & maintain strategic plans designed to achieve fundraising objectives through donor drives, annual fund programs, direct mail campaigns, fundraising events, etc… Must have a minimum of 7 years of fundraising experience with demonstrated knowledge of fundraising programs involving annual funds, planned giving, corporate giving, direct mail, gifts-in-kind, and special events; as well as a strong understanding of the grant proposal writing process.
