Job Description
SUMMARY:
A nine-month intensive program designed to train and grow a future manager in the aspects of sales, sales management, operations, financial obligations, inventory management, customer service and human resource management within the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Train with Sales Team and General Manager, learning all aspects of marketing, customer relationships, territory management, and sales management.
Train with operational staff including Operations Manager, Office Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Shift Supervisor learning the day-to-day operations of the Branch.
Be involved in all Sales Training Seminars, Human Resource Seminars and training, and all other training associated with the operation of the Branch.
Learn all financial aspects required of Branch management including understanding and responding to financial statements, asset protection, and inventory control.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May be responsible at different periods of training for the supervision of certain shifts and operational functions of the Branch, which will range in number of personnel of 8 to 30 people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This includes working three different shifts, ability to work with an adult workforce, and a positive representative of the Company with customers, vendors, and fellow employees. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree required
COMPUTER SKILLS
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and database operations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
