Sales Manager II Chicago Job Description § Manage the sale of all Voice, Data, and IP products and services, meet revenue targets based on rolled up quota of Key Segment sales team. § Perform account planning and positioning for National Accounts under the Business Markets Unit. Responsible for setting quota, realigning modules of accounts, and meeting/exceeding monthly sales objectives while delivering the Spirit of Service to customers. § Train, coach, mentor, motivate and conduct formal performance reviews for team of 8-10 sales executives in the Key market segment. Manage active learning plans and facilitate daily, monthly and yearly sales results objectives for sales team. § Responsible for day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, and customer focused sales efforts for a team of sales executives at the senior and major level. § Participate in community and industry-related events to further develop the opportunities to procure new business Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is required. Masters degree is desired. Must have 6+ years of Sales experience in the telecommunications experience, including 3+ years sales management experience in the telecommunications industry. Must have a proven (documented) outside sales track record selling within the local area market. Must have a proven track record sales results and sales management within a telecommunications/technology service provider. Extensive skills preparing and presenting formal (RFP, RFI) proposals and presentations to C-Level and Executive level decision makers as well as end users. Proficient with PC-based applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and sales performance/tracking programs.
