Manager, Marketing (Avionics aftermarket business)

This position is responsible for developing strategies to strengthen and grow our position in the flight deck avionics aftermarket. A key responsibility of this role is the development and maintenance of a long term marketing plan for growing our aftermarket business portfolio. This position is also required to identify, communicate and championing of specific opportunities to apply our products in the aftermarket through internal approval processes. In addition, this position is expected to manage the creation of sales and marketing support materials, participate in marketing and sales events and to support the sales and marketing team in the field.



Principle Accountabilities
Develop and communicate a Marketing Plan for the BRS aftermarket.
Lead Decision Point Reviews for key opportunities identified in the plan.
Lead marketing campaigns to stimulate interest and demand for Rockwell Collins products.
Manage the development of marketing brochures, white papers, presentations, sales and marketing bulletins for various product lines.
Develop and maintain roadmaps for assigned product lines and support associated Life Cycle Value Stream Managers as required.
Participate in industry activities to communicate the value proposition for Rockwell Collins products and to better understand the market dynamics.
Support the field sales force in the pursuit of key opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of market size, trends and competitive landscape at all times.
Develop relationships with key aftermarket dealers.
Lead the Dealer Advisory Board and use it to get feedback and communicate direction to our dealer network.


Dimensions/Scope of Position
This position is responsible for the marketing efforts related to an $100 M sales portfolio
This position is responsible for managing travel, Dealer Advisory Board and Collateral development budgets.
This position has no direct reports but may have in the future.

REQUIREMENTS


This job requires a Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of specifically related experience including supervisory, management or project management responsibilities.



US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required.
