Major and Planned Gifts Coordinator

Department: FoundationSchedule: Full-timeShift: Day shiftHours: 8:00am - 5:00pmJob Details: Must have 3 years of major, planned gift or related experience sufficient to demonstrate competency with gift tax and estate planning regulations, contract and proposal preparation, and customer service skills. - Must have knowledge and abilities normally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or closely related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. - Must have working knowledge of intestacy laws, federal estate tax, federal income tax and state inheritance taxes, and estate planning strategies (i.e. credit trust, Q-Tip trusts, CRT/Wealth replacement trusts).Works under the supervision of the Executive Director of United Medical Center Foundation. Develops, plans, implements the major and planned giving program through identification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors for major gifts or planned gifts through their estate plans, including bequests, trusts, annuities, and real estate.
