BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST


Our client is a 130 year old prestigious international law form who is ranked in the top 5 of many of their practice categories. They have over 1,000 lawyers and operate in 5 major categories:
Corporate Finance
Litigation
Tax
Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits
Anti-Trust

They have a need for a Business Development Analyst who will be supporting the marketing activities of both the Business Development and Practice Development teams at the firm. Some of the responsibilities will be:

Creating comprehensive reports on key clients and client sectors
Creating reports on legal competitors and their efforts with key clients
Support Practice Development teams in marketing activities including seminars and events, developing speaking and media opportunities and increasing visibility of practice group
Collaborate with groups within marketing and the firm to develop pitches and proposals
Create comprehensive reports on key clients, billings ,trends, competitors, and industries
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements are:

A professional image and demeanor and strong presentation skills
MINIMUM of 3 years marketing experience at a law firm or professional services firm
Experience at a law firm a major plus
Bachelor’s degree a must. Advanced degree preferred
Strong in research, trend spotting, competitive analysis, spread sheet analysis
Strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Compensation includes a base salary of $70K -$80K, a Bonus Plan and World Class Benefits.
