THE COMPANY

My client is a small but growing division of a specialty publishing company. As a US product development division of a larger international firm, they maintain a small headquarters and product center in the western Philadelphia suburbs. At this location, they design and market unique products for the children's educational market. These products combine education and play in unique and clever ways.

THE JOB

The are seeking a Junior Account Manager who will focus on working with media and publishing companies internationally. You will market and sell product concepts and will manage projects related to product delivery. One day may require working with a contact at Disney creating a tie-in for a new movie and the next day providing quotes for publishing rights to a product for translation to Italian. This job requires good people skills and the ability to organize complex projects.
REQUIREMENTS


THE REQUIREMENTS


We are seeking a BS/BA with 1+ years of sales/account management experience, preferably in a B2B product or service who can get personally passionate about working with high-end, educational products for young children. This position would be exceptional for someone with interests in both business and teaching and/or child development. There is occasional (3-4 times per year) one week international travel required to trade shows.
