JTRS Waveform Acquisition Manager

Our capabilities span the system development life cycle and include systems integration, as well as data and text mining services and solutions. SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: The person filling this position would work for the JTRS Waveform and Cryptologic Acquisition Product Manager. Additional responsibilities are:
1. Manage the Integrated Product team (IPT) organization of the program
2. Direct and perform technical analysis of waveform program to determine if they me government requirements.
3. Conduct a proactive role in all acquisition source selection activities of the waveform program
4. Conduct a proactive role in the post contract award activities for the life of the project,
5. Act as a day to day technical manger to the waveform program.
6. Provide expertise in building an acquisition program. Daily Responsibilities Continued First and foremost the successful candidate must have a valid and active Secret Clearance. The candidate must have experience in communication engineering with a background in data link and a working knowledge of wideband networking waveforms. In addition he must have a familiarity with DoD acquisition policies, procedures and regulations. Also he must posses the knowledge of the technical review processes, hardware and software development and test processes, and to develop the best course for a successful acquisition software intensive program. The candidate must possess strong leadership skills, be able to chair meetings, strong organization skills in putting together IPT teams and must be adequate public speaker. He must be able to prioritize multi-tasks with little guidance. He must hit the ground running and be prepared to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
