Inside Sales Respresentative

Bell Microproducts is a value-added provider of a wide range of technology products, solutions and services to the Industrial, Commercial and Enterprise marketplace. A recognized specialist in storage products. Bell Micro is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing storage-centric value-added distributors.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Rep in the Columbia area to maintain and grow existing customer relationships, follow-up on sales leads and grow an account base through sales to multiple customers, utilizing a specified product mix and margin objective. Responsible for outbound calls to customers to solicit “turns business”, stock checks and price quotations to customers. Return all customer calls with price and delivery information. Continuously communicate with Field Sales, Product Marketing and Management. Interact with Suppliers and Reps & attend sales meetings. Develop an ongoing mutually beneficial relationship with Suppliers and Manufacturer Reps.
REQUIREMENTS
Prime candidates will have direct experience in selling to VAR’s on any of these current products: Storagetek, IBM, HP, EMC,Lucent, Compaq (StorageWorks), Quantum ATL & DLT, Brocade, Qlogic, Emulex, Seagate Tape, LSI Logic, Eurologic, Overland Data, JNI, ADIC

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Proficient in Word and Excel applications. Excellent organizational and communication skills required.Prior sales experience a plus
