Client is recognized leader in their industry and has enjoyed exceptional growth over the years either through new product development and/or acquisition.



Summary of position: Responsible for providing complex technical support to customers and outside sales representatives for a specific product family. Responsible for developing pricing for special, non-published products.



Specific Duties 1) Serves as the primary interface between Engineering, inside

And responsibilities: and outside sales and Contract Administration.

2) Assists field sales resources in assessing suitability of a particular product for a given end use customer application.

3) Work with field sales resources on specific target accounts.

4) Quote price and availability for standard products as well as specially designed product. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop accurate cost data.

5) Develop price adder sheets for special features/materials to be used by inside sales.

6) Provide training as necessary to all selling resources (internally and externally) as requested by the field.

7) Assist in training in the representative training school.

8) Other technical and commercial support activities as may be assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Education and Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or technical discipline

Experience: plus 4-6 years of related industry experience in a technical (Engineering) or sales capacity.



Additional General knowledge of the pressure relief valve industry, inclusive of mechanics of operation of the various style PRV.



Ability to confidently present technical product seminars to a varied and diverse audience. (Inclusive of ability to deal with hostile participants).



Ability to travel as much as 75% during a product introduction or product relocation.



Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Requires excellent computer skills, ability to work with detail. Good organizational skills, solid math skills, and excellent problem solving ability.
