IT/Development Business Analyst

The D. E. Shaw group, a specialized investment and technology development firm, is looking for technology-minded analysts to join its IT/Development team. This group is charged with developing new infrastructure for the firm's high-volume, straight-through processing environment and works with US- and India-based teams to specify and implement new applications. The successful candidate will have 2+ years experience working in finance as a problem-solver and/or analyst, a deep understanding of accounting and/or operations processes, experience writing specifications, outstanding communication and analytical skills, and a bachelor’s degree.
