Human Resource Analyst
PRIMARY PURPOSE OR POSITION OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible for conducting analysis and ensuring all essential duties of the department are completed accurately and efficiently. The HR Analyst is responsible for working with management for recruiting, probationary measures, terminations, etc.; and ensuring the Company is in compliance with local and federal laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to:
•Assisting managers with recruiting by obtaining approval for new positions
•Completing new hire requisition forms
•Updating open positions on Company website
•Working with recruiters to fill open positions
•Submitting approved requisition forms to IT for processing
•Interviewing candidates; explaining benefit package
•Compiling meeting agenda for and participating in the HR Committee
•Updating staffing analysis monthly to include new hires, terminations, open positions, overtime, contractors, etc.
•Reviewing and updating employee handbook quarterly
•Reviewing and updating Managers’ Handbook
•Assisting management with annual employee reviews
•Assisting with quarterly bonus program
•Acting as the third party mediator on employee issues
•Along with HR Director, acting as liaison between management and corporate attorney regarding employee issues
•Along with HR Director, representing the company in legal matters concerning former employees
•Along with HR Director, overseeing terminations, probations/employee warnings
•Signing letters for reviews, promotions, last pay, COBRA, etc.
•Researching and updating benefits as necessary
•Updating the HR section of the Company’s Intranet site
•Overseeing the Company Safety Committee
•Keeping the Company organizational chart up-to-date
•Updating job descriptions for Company positions
•Completing worker’s compensation claims
•Ongoing FLSA compliance
•Completing OSHA logs and annual postings
•Ongoing compliance with OSHA regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Specialized Training: Knowledge of state and federal laws
Previous Experience: 5 years of related experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR/SPHR Preferred;
Certificate in CPR and First Aid Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS

Computer Skills: Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, ADP, Power Point, (Internal packages of PeachTree, ePace)
