Objective:
To efficiently manage a team to meet and exceed set goals by maximizing club revenue within all club profit centers and enhancing profitability through EFT growth. Also to execute supreme customer service standards to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly club sales and performance goals.
First in line to take tours with a minimum of 45% of all tours taken by month end.
Maintain a club closing percentage of 75% or higher.
Implement and participate in all in-club and external guerrilla marketing (ex. Corporate Membership Campaigns, Business Employee Promotions, etc.).
Implement and participate in all marketing phone calls (ex. Thank You Calls, 30 Day Trial Member Calls, Expired/Cancelled Member Calls, etc.).
Implement and participate in all in-house promotional marketing (ex. Daily referral presentations, monthly member specials, etc.).
Implement and participate in the preparation and execution of all promotional events (ex. Open Houses, Free Friends and Family Weekends, etc.).
Top of shift walk through utilizing Club Standard Checklist to maintain club cleanliness standards.
Create and delegate Daily Action Plan for staff including sales, cleaning, referral, and other pertinent goals for the day. (Weekend Action Plans to also be completed every Friday for Saturday & Sunday to maintain performance).
Monthly Equipment Maintenance Check on the 15th of every month.
Conduct weekly staff meetings.
Address and resolve all member issues and concerns.
Address and resolve all staff issues and concerns.
Conduct daily moments of training with all staff (including Assistant Manager) to maximize staff performance and success.
Conduct new staff training, mentoring, and coaching.
Implement and maintain all company procedures and protocols at all times.
Maintain open contact and availability to staff while on and off shift.
Cover club to accommodate for appropriate scheduling and ensure club is open during all hours of operation.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Four year degree in related field, preferred.
One year sales and/or management experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Strong sales ability backed by an established sales history.
Passion for fitness.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on leadership.
Innate ability to focus on details to ensure consistent quality.
Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
