HR Specialist

Overall Purpose: Provide analytical support in the review and development of human resource programs, labor contracts and department budgets. Provide support and coaching to line managers on employee selection, performance management, and performance measurement.
Top ResponsibilitiesProvide research, competitive analysis and financial/quantitative analysis on human resource programs including all forms of benefits, compensation, and staffing/workforce planning strategies.Provide research, competitive analysis and financial/quantitative analysis for the development of labor strategies and the negotiation of labor contracts.Provide generalist support to assigned client groups---provide staffing/recruiting support as well as performance coaching, performance management and performance measurement support.Provide analysis, development support and administration of department budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:2-3 years. Strong and persuasive communication skills, excellent problem-solver, demonstrated ability to coach others around problems and processes. Outstanding detail orientation; independent, efficient, fast-paced contributor. Excellent computer and spreadsheet skills with a solid foundation in quantitative and/or financial analysis. Undergraduate college degree in business, human resources, or related area required; graduate degree preferred.
