Global Account Manager Plastics

Global Account ManagerOur Client is a Global producer of Color Concentrates and Additive Master-batch. This position is responsible for calling on the OEM’s of the Health and Beauty Industry for there packaging needs. This position works with Brand managers, Purchasing engineers, Design engineers and Project managers.
Key Actions: The GAM is in charge of the assigned global Account (s), is expected to manage the sustainable growth and profitability of the account (s), Manage closely with Company Management to ensure truly global approach.?Purpose specific new product development for the global account?Support Sales Representatives of Company who are in charge of the global account (s) in their respective countries: common customer’s visits information on customer strategy.
?May act as Sales Representative in the country where the central purchasing department of the global account is located.
?Coordinates organizational charts and relationship mapping?Set up guidelines for pricing at the global account (s).

?International and global travel capable.Minimum Experience required for Global Accounts Manager
BS Degree with 7-10 years experience in sales and Accounts/Global accounts management. Experience with Large accounts, strategic accounts and key accounts. Needs direct technical interface experience.
This position needs to be located in or near New York City/New Jersey area. . A two hour commute could be acceptable. Several accounts are in the New York City area and we need to have quick response time to customers.
