GENERAL MERCHANDISE/APPAREL SALESFLOOR SPECIALIST

The Specialist provides direct assistance to the Department Manager, Assistant Department Manager and Department Supervisor with daily operations of assigned areas.

Provides customers with exceptional service, answers questions and takes customer calls.

Implements corporate generated planograms in assigned areas and responsible for effective product placement.
REQUIREMENTS
Must demonstrate strong leadership skills to direct and motivate teammates. Requires effective decision making skills for handling customer and teammate problems. Must demonstrate an exemplary commitment to provide exceptional customer service. Strong verbal skills for dealing with all levels of teammates and customers. Must be able to quickly and effectively prioritize work for multiple teammates. Out-going attitude: positive and professional demeanor. High school equivalent reading and math skills. Must be able to operate a cash register. Prior retail industry experience required. Must be able to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
