The Los Angeles Police Revolver and Athletic Club (LAPRAAC) is the backbone of officer morale within the Los Angeles Police Department. LAPRAAC's history of pioneering police training for LAPD officers, permitting the city to use LAPRAAC's facilities for over 60 years, and pioneering police recreational facilities, as well as the importance of physical fitness for law enforcement officers, cannot go unnoticed. Floor Sales Manager

The job
Involved in customer facing transactions.
Maintain proper inventory levels.
Responsible for physical inventory counts. Resolves inventory discrepancies as instructed.
Assist management team with opening/closing of location and communicating updates on policies/procedures.
Perform special projects and assignments.
Reconcile cash (bank deposit, safe fund/till fund, daily financial transactions) and follow bank deposit procedures.
Retail management in a decision-making role.
Will supervise employees and recruit and train staff.
Handle employee Relations/Handle personnel issues (scheduling, manage labor).
Increase sales volume.
Manage controllable expenses/Operational controls/profit levers/profit & loss controls, cost analysis/Budget planning skills, goal setting.
Supervise proper merchandising plans.
Ensure stores are maximizing sales and profit.
Ensure all stores deliver a positive customer shopping experience.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and morality.
Ensure stores are operating efficiently and cost effectively.
Ensures stores provide customer service to company standards.
Merchandise movement and display.
Store cleaning and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS
College preferred or a minimum of two to ten years retail experience, with one to four years store management experience.
Must have basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Highly developed communications skills (written, verbal, presentation).
Highly developed interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Highly developed strategic thinking skills.
Outstanding conflict management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Possess excellent leadership skills and facilitate training.
Ability to assess skills and develop self and others.
Must be a proven sales leader.
High energy level.
Must be able to lift product boxes up to (30 pounds); climb ladders (up to 12 feet) to stock and/or move shelves.
Expected to be available to work weekdays, weekends (includes a minimum of 1 Saturday per month), as well as before/after store hours.
