Fleet Sales Representative
FUNCTION: Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Sales ManagerJOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Representative is responsible for sales of golf cars and specialty/utility vehicles to golf channel, including country clubs, driving ranges, municipalities, etc. Territory includes northern Chicago and lower WI.RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Represents E-Z-GO at trade shows, bid openings, and conferences as needed.
Prepares lease and/or purchase proposals tailored to customers needs.
Works with customers and Textron Financial Corp. on customer financing as necessary.
Submits detailed orders to appropriate personnel with clear and concise information.
Keep Branch Manager/Sales Manager apprised of the current sales status for all courses within designated territory.
Responsible for relaying information to other branch or company personnel concerning possible field product problems.
Responsible for quoting products and prices under existing company guidelines.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a quarterly, semiannual, and annual basis.
Educates customers about E-Z-GO products. This includes information on the features and benefits that make E-Z-GO superior to the competition. Requires knowledge of competitors' products and product features.
Coordinates customer delivery, service, and administrative needs with Branch Operations Manager and/or Service Manager as necessary to ensure superior customer service.
Maintains accurate market data and promptly record data changes in company database.
Overnight travel on an as-needed basis in order to service and satisfy customer needs.
Provide expense reports, mileage reports, sales prospects, conquests and losses, and other required records and reports to Branch Manager
as scheduled.
Responsible for making sure all demo slips, sales paperwork and lease paperwork are signed and properly completed.
Maintains records of all quotes and outcome of customer purchases (whether E-Z-GO or not).
Responsible for preventive maintenance and proper operation of assigned and company vehicle.
Performs all other related duties as required by management.EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
3 - 5 years of proven sales experience.
Strong preference for sales experience in durable goods industry.
Prefer experience in a territory requiring frequent travel.
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills required.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet usage.
Knowledge of the game of golf required; knowledge of golf industry a plus.
Must be willing to travel frequently.
Weekend work as company representative at trade shows, tournaments, etc. required on occasion.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
