The Financial Analyst-Trust applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Is responsible for preparing and approving applicable external reporting as required by the Trust indenture. Responsible for preparing and approving applicable regulatory reporting as required by the SEC and recording monthly and daily transaction preparation including entering journal entries, preparing general ledger reconciliations. Leads project for new securitized trust issuances and based on needs, prepare notices (aka "issuer orders") and other legal documentation required by banks, servicers / guarantors and Trustee to obtain funds for new loan volume. Duties include preparation of the monthly distributions and quarterly investor reporting, amortization of securitization cash flows and preparation of loan valuation for securitized trust loans. Assist with month end closing process related to Trust Accounting and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.



Compiles and analyzes financial information using computer spreadsheets. Maintains various databases, providing management reports and summaries. Handles special projects as required. Assists with development and testing of new software applications and other duties as may be assigned.


REQUIREMENTS




Bachelor's degree in Accounting or financial field from four-year college or university

3 years financial industry/banking experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Advanced knowledge and understanding of Treasury products

Securitization knowledge and experience

Strong Excel skills
