We are currently seeking a part-time Field Specialist to impact sales on behalf of our client, one of the industry leaders in digital photography technology.  As a Field Specialist, you will accomplish this by building good relationships with store management and associates, along with educating store personnel and consumers on the features and benefits of our client’s product (a well known brand of digital photography).  Along with product education and demonstration, this is primarily a part-time "assisted sales" position with merchandising duties to ensure all client displays are well stocked and visually appealing.  You will be responsible for accomplishing these tasks in multiple retail locations within a specific territory.  
Essential Responsibilities

 

- Visit each store in territory based on frequency defined for the retailer
Educate store personnel on the features & benefits of our client's brand and product line

- Conduct informal and formal trainings at the retail level as needed
Build relationships with all levels of store sales associates and store management Maintain demonstration units

- Provide periodic Sales & Product Demonstrations to customers

- Incorporate "assisted selling" techniques to drive product sales
Work with store management to ensure the sales floor & displays are properly stocked and merchandised 
Maintain current point of sale materials Complete timely & accurate daily on-line reports  

 

Work Schedule:

 

- Approximately 15 - 20 hours / week

 

- Schedules will vary based on store and territory and will include flexible Monday thru Thursday merchandising visits (conducted anytime between the hours of 9AM & 7PM), as well as varying Fri., Sat., & Sunday demonstration visits to be scheduled to meet vendor requirements

 

*Increased hours/additional shifts may occur due to program needs/peak selling seasons. REQUIREMENTS


 

- Available to work a varied 15 - 20 hour weekly schedule as outlined above

- 2 years merchandising / sales experience in multiple retail locations preferred

- Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude

- Tremendous interpersonal communications skills - must be a "people person"

- Ability to learn and master consumer electronic and technical information 

- Comfortable educating & sharing product feature and benefit information with customers & retail associates 

- Background/experience with consumer electronics and technology preferred

- Computer literate and savvy with PCCommunicate effectively in both face-to-face and group presentations and demonstrationsAble to embrace and implement new initiatives and directives in a timely fashionProfessional appearance
Detail-oriented
Independent and self-motivated


 

Technical Requirements

 

- Must have a PC computer with internet/email access and printer

- Ability to learn / use a handheld device - company will provide

 

Auto Insurance Requirements

 

All employees that are required to use their personal vehicle for business purposes are required to provide Mosaic with evidence of insurance and agree in writing to keep this insurance current throughout employment.
 
Physical Requirements


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer using both hands; stand and /or walk for up to 8 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear; count and perform basic mathematic functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to written instructions; regular lifting up to 25 lbs. to move stock or displays from the stock room to selling floor.
