Micro Focus is presently looking for a solid, experienced sales professional to join its Channels team in North America to manage the Federal System Integrator market. This new position will be located at our office in Rockville, Maryland.
The primary role of the Federal Channel Manager will be to act as the point of contact between Micro Focus and assigned Federal System Integrators. The position will drive the corporate relationship with Federal agencies, as well as develop key partnering relationships with Federal Systems Integrators. Effective account development will revolve around three key functions: technology adoption, sales enabling, and demand creation.

Compensation
Federal Sales Account Manager's compensation plan includes a very competitive salary, bonus and commission structure. In addition various incentive based rewards are available (Annual Club Trip, etc.)
Key responsibilities include:
Achieving assigned quota through facilitating the interaction between Federal agencies and SI partners and retaining and growing assigned revenue.Developing the territory business plan to meet or exceed targets for Micro Focus products, services, and overall business relationships.Recruiting and negotiating contracts with new partners.Providing necessary reports and forecasts in a timely fashion.Developing professional, mutually beneficial relationships with key partner executives.Comprehensive Benefits

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have:At least 10 years enterprise software sales experience, including at least 5 years managing Federal System Integrators.A strong, proven history and track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives is essential.Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills, strong team building skills and solid conflict resolution abilities.A superior professional presence is crucialA Bachelor's degree or equivalent is also required.This position will include frequent travel.
