Individual will be responsible for product sales and service, general management, and the business record keeping of a designated territory. This person will also be responsible for keeping current in the knowledge of the healthcare industry and to reach sales goals while complying with Olympus's Policies and Procedures. Identifies and pursues business at the account level by making routine calls to existing customers or to new customers. Determines "key" decision-makers, and devises plans to establish Olympus product use in individual, major, and key accounts. Develops and maintains effective knowledge of competition, products, strategies, organization, etc. Provides necessary and appropriate after sale service to accounts, utilizing each opportunity to discover and pursue additional business. Develops and maintains accurate customer information records of key personnel, product usage, and developing opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) A minimum of 1-year sales experience, preferably in medical consumable or disposable product sales is required. Consideration will be given to candidates with outstanding sales in office products area. In lieu of sales experience, individuals with a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience will also be considered. A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred. Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are necessary. Must possess a high degree of initiative and creativity. Must be able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (or the equivalent knowledge) is required.
