Emergency Operation/Force Protection Analyst (311320)Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is seeking Emergency Operation/Force Protection Analyst to provide support to the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The incumbent is responsible for tasks associated with the functioning of the ARL Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The candidate must be familiar with multiple means of communication, task formulation, suspense tracking and executing staff functions. Specific duties may include: o Policy. Interpreting of higher headquarters guidance for action, development of complimentary policy documents or SOPs. o Data gathering. For satisfying higher headquarters information requirements and routine status reports on deployed assets. o Manage chain of command internal and external taskers to gather all required responses under suspense, consolidate information and respond to higher headquarters taskers. o Plans. Develop, publish, maintain and update operational plans. Support planning efforts of MSC subordinate installations and activities worldwide in the same tasks. o Oversight. Continually analyze the existing EOC operation identify shortcomings, provide and develop improvement. Assist, as required, in the ARL budget/POM cycle. o Threat Assessment. Access databases, which include terrorism information, operations, crime, health, intelligence, and safety data to provide tailored briefings to travelers. Conduct liaison with appropriate military and civilian police, intelligence and security agencies to collect and integrate threat information in planning to reduce the probability of terrorist attack. o Vulnerability Assessments. Participate, as directed, in assessing vulnerabilities to assessed threats at the HQ and subordinate installations and activities worldwide. Identify and recommend remedies in the areas of security procedures, physical security, personal security, and information assurance as required. o Exercises. Plan, develop and execute exercises as independent activities or as an integrated portion of larger, installation operational exercises. o Physical Security. Maintain the integrity of the secure area of the ARL EOC. Recommend physical or procedural security projects and track project status. Attend The successful candidate will also serve as a Force Protection advisor when required and should understand development and implementation of Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) policy, plans and procedures. The candidate would support program oversight, assist in vulnerability assessments of subordinate activities and render analysis of all Force Protection issues as required. REQUIREMENTS
US citizen with a current DoD secret security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information). This position requires a minimum of ten years experience in Emergency Operations and Force Protection/Antiterrorism. Military experience is essential. The candidate should have experience with operations center functions and have a firm grasp of Force Protection. Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
