Brief Job Description:
Seeking an Electrical and/or Voice Data,Low Voltage Estimator that has the desire and skill to grow business in the Orlando Territory. Estimating and bidding on work is a big part of selling in this Industry. We are looking for someone who can do both. MCS provides IT,Communications and Electrical services and products.

The Estimator/Business Development specialist will use technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services. A proven sales professional with strong background in Federal and Commercial IT,Communications Installation and/or Electrical sales is needed. Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services. Works closely with Contracts, Proposal Manager, Engineering and Operations on bids and to meet specs of sale. Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience estimating and bidding on Electrical and/or Voice & Data communictaions work. 2 yrs hands on communications, technical or electrician experience plus 3 yrs successful related sales OR 5+ yrs successful related sales. Knowledge of commercial, federal and government construction and service RFP and Bid process. Degree preferred. RCDD and/or Journeymans license a huge plus.
