Elan Business & Market Development Manager

Part of a team leading business development and related strategies for the Elan agent bank credit card program, plays a key role in the development of short term and long term goals to meet agent bank credit card program objectives and manages the elements of the new business development strategic plan focusing on meeting program growth and profitability goals, while ensuring consistency with organizational and business line objectives. Helps with annual plan, goal-setting and forecast for bank credit card purchases and related activities; works with Sales and Finance on purchases of bank credit card portfolios and will help set the terms of the offer from credit card pricing to bank compensation; maintains competitive analysis and performs market research on competing agent bank credit card programs to identify bank needs and trends; and oversees the on-going analysis to monitor and analyze agent bank credit card performance and profitability. Will work with other Elan teams to identify the appropriate sales collateral material, advertising, promotional programs, sales training programs, etc. that the Sales team can use during the sales process.Job Requirements
Requires a strong knowledge of program development, pricing, strategic analysis, along with marketing and research skills; an understanding of the banking industry along with credit card market place, operations, products and services; and well-developed verbal and written communication skills. This position requires strong financial, competitive analysis and PC skills. Minimum of a bachelor's degree and five or more years of related experience required. MBA preferred.
