EASTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

This division of a $3B global manufacturing company is the world leader in its industry, with branded products in the business-to-business, consumer aftermarket and high-technology areas of its business. With a significant market share edge over the next largest competitor, the division enjoys a dominant position in the product segment. The division is currently out-performing the 2006 plan and is on track to generate more than $200M in revenues. Approximately half of the division's revenue is generated in North America. With a strong base of business sold through an established network of B2B and B2C customers, there is unprecedented potential for growth through new markets, emerging product segments, and by reinventing the go-to-market strategy in established geographies like North America.

Job Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Marketing preferred)
•Minimum five years sales experience
•Supervisory experience
•Excellent communication skills
•Computer literate
•Ability to travel 50% of the time
•Well-groomed, neat professional appearance
•Excellent attention to detail and follow up
•Licensed driver with no criminal record
•Must be able to lift 40 pounds
REQUIREMENTS
•Make sales calls and promotional visits to prospects and dealers as required
•Supervise sales representatives, including training, field visits and sales calls
•Exploit opportunities for national account sales
•Execute marketing strategies through distribution network
•Attend trade shows
•Monitor effectiveness of marketing activities as required
•Provide sales training programs for film dealers
•Assist Business development function
•Monitor expenses associated with sales staff
•Make recommendations on stock levels to support sales growth
•Monitor competitive activity
•Assist in budgeting process
•Assist in planning and creating effective marketing programs and materials
•Handle customer disputes as required
•Special projects and promotions
