Dynamic Sales Executive - LA Area

Learning Tree International (NASDAQ: LTRE) is a leading provider of vendor-independent training to IT professionals and managers in business and government organizations. The company has differentiated itself through its independence from hardware and software vendors, the breadth, depth and high quality of its course curriculum, and its global reach for the last 32 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive to work in our Corporate Sales Department located in El Segundo, California.

Basic Function
This position will be responsible for outside sales and business development into commercial/government accounts for Learning Tree International's Management Institute Curriculum.

Responsibilities Include:
Close new business for Learning Tree's Management Institute programs

Develop and cultivate sales leads within accounts through telephone and face-to-face communications, including presentations to senior-level decision-makers

Document customer contacts within Learning Tree provided CRM

Research new, potential opportunities within accounts; to include referrals within existing customer base

Develop "target opportunities plan" within each account opportunity and document progress through account management strategies

Develop business and account plans and update monthly to reflect strategies to successfully achieve quota

Prepare weekly and monthly reports to reflect current and projected revenue, as well as client activity
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years outside sales experience selling to high-level decision-makers of Fortune 1000 and government/military organizations

Demonstrable experience with developing, maintaining, and growing large customer accounts

College degree or equivalent outside sales experience required

Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as the ability to effectively deliver company presentation to our customers in a meeting or one-on-one environment

Salary Range:
Base Salary 70-80k plus uncapped commission and guarantee ramp-up
