Accountabilities:

Effectively meet sales goals for Follett's Destiny and Asset Management systems
Develop and close contacts at District level including C-level and Sr. District Director personnel
Focus on competitive markets to build new business
Effectively manage districts identified as 'the top 500'. Focus on new business development. Open doors by being a 'hunter'
Orchestrate management of 10-15 state territory of newly developed and current accounts. Be proactive and creative in your approach
Strategize a sales plan based on sales data and the market climate
Sell by demonstrating value over rather than selling by price
Monitor market and report findings, working with other internal teams
Create and deliver high powered sales presentations
REQUIREMENTS



What you bring to the table:

Strong knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (ex. inventory control / asset management)
4-6 years sales experience in K-12 / library market dealing in technical products is preferred, yet not required
Software solutions sales experience
Strong technical knowledge of LAN/WAN, web-based software and products is essential. Sales experience with asset management products are preferred, but not required
Documented track record of successfully selling to C-level executives or Technology Coordinators / IT Directors at school districts
Ability to work with buyers to justify their sale
Presentation development (Power Point) to high-level decision makers
MS Office, Power Point
Bachelors Degree in Education or Business
Extensive travel required (75%)
