Distribution Channel Sales Manager

Note: Position can also be based out of Dallas TX or Atlanta GA.

Summary: Identifies develops, and manages organization’s distribution channel strategies by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops joint channel marketing strategic plans with channel partners in alignment with corporate objectives.

Implements channel marketing strategic plans and goals to meet corporate objectives and increase market share and profitability of products and services.

Develops and manages Distribution and Alliance Channel partner contracts, promotions, programs and account activities.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective distributors.

Forecasts, formulates, and manages Distribution market development budgets and sales.

Analyzes sales reports and market trends, and identifies Distribution and Alliance channels and account targets.

Tracks effectiveness of channel marketing programs, and recommends pricing, promotions and programs to meet sell through and gross margin targets.

Works with inside marketing and sales to develop promotions and promotional materials to increase sell through and return on investment.

Analyzes inventory reports to ensure proper stock levels at distributor.

Prepares and presents ongoing reports to executive management.

Maintain travel and expense budget in alignment with corporate objectives.
