Director of Sales & Marketing Onsite Water / Wastewater Systems
Our client, a small ($6MM) manufacturer of water / wastewater systems and electronic controls is seeking a 'go-getter' Sales& Marketing Director to drive sales of both engineered and custom systems, as well as 'off the shelf' items, such as valves, sold through distributors.
Help re-organize the Sales & Marketing area of the company; Help develop the sales and marketing strategy; Help develop and write the sales and marketing plan; Mentor the existing Sales team; Get them "up-to-speed" on Internet Sales and Marketing;
Currently have 1 person who handles the high dollar / customized / engineered systems; 1 outside sales person calling primarily in VA and NC; 1 gov't. relations person who makes sure they are in compliance; 1 inside service person; 22 reps. in about 15 states, a number of distributors.
The President and the top Admin/Financial Manager have been handling most of the reps and distributors. They want this person to take on this responsibility, as well as participate in all the "planning/strategy" items listed above.

REQUIREMENTS
-- BS Business or Technical;
-- 5+ years selling and marketing products/systems in the water and onsite wastewater industry - or - something similar;
-- at least 2+ years in "management",
-- managing inside sales people as well as reps and distributors;
-- experience with sales/marketing strategy and developing plans;
-- experience working in a small company (wear many hats)
-- Must be a "hands-on / working" manager
