Director of Patient Services - Management

A dynamic and growth oriented local hospice organization is looking for a business oriented individual to fill our FT Director of Patient Services position for the Hospice Care of the Midwest in Kansas City, MO (a sister company to Hospice Care of Kansas located in Lenexa, Kansas).Hospice Care of Kansas is the largest hospice in the state of Kansas and our level of patient care has made us one of the fastest growing in the Midwest. We know that we have to take care of the people that take care of our patients!
Responsibilities include: management of office operations, the direction and supervision of staff and the clinical operations of the KC, MO office. Develop, plan and direct patient care, monitor staff performance, implement and enforce policies and procedures, control and evaluation of effectiveness of operations, and staffing along with the education and supervision of staff. On-call responsibilities required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as management of multiple priorities. Proven team player and customer service skills as must. Strong management or administrative experience required. Medical business experience required, hospice management preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have bachelor's degree in related field, preferably in management. Previous Hospice, Home Health, or Long Term Care experience preferred.
