As Director, Sales Training, BioPharma, you will strategically identify and create product and therapeutic category course development, inclusive of an "Academy" curricula required, and the creation of all time and events for all stages of BioPharma Training. You will manage the portfolio of products with respect to marketing strategies, new product launches, learning processes or systems, superchargers, P.O.A. meeting content, and the development of training materials with LPG. You will coordinate training activities with respect to product knowledge while focusing on selling skills for new and experience sales people as appropriate, to work collaboratively with Sales Training Departments of Wyeth partner companies. You will direct the interaction with all levels of marketing personnel and the BioPharma Insights Partner to proactively build and deliver core product selling messages. You will promote the Training department, and will communicate the content and importance of available classes to management and representatives. You will coordinate the staffing of BioPharma Trainers, supervise their development, and ensure that all BioPharma trainers are certified, and perform their duties consistent with GPP guidelines.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree - a Master's degree or a Pharm.D. in Oncology or Immunology is preferred. Must have at least 10 years of overall pharmaceutical business experience which should include diverse experience in the following areas: sales, management, and training. Prior experience in the field of Oncology is highly desirable. This position requires a demonstrated ability to understand and translate highly technical/clinical pharmaceutical product information into training programs that meet business needs. Management experience in supervising and organizing diverse activities is required. Other essential skills required are as follows: presentation skills; written and oral communication skills; interpersonal skills; and organizing and planning skills. Must have experience in the development, coordination, and conduction of training sessions. Experience selling products in a highly competitive environment is required. Must understand and demonstrate the effective use of Customer-Focused selling.
