 Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirector
of OEM & Special products, reports directly to the Director of
Engineering and Product Manager for Business Networks Group (BNG). This
position is accountable for managing the global OEM team and for
establishing strong cross- organizational, cross-functional 
business networks to support the growth of the OEM business year over
year; for creating delighted customers for our strategic partners such
as Dell, IBM, NEC, HP, Cisco, etal and to develop new relationships toexpand
the business.   Essential to the position is leadership to
provide timely and quality fulfillment to meet the needs of the
customer while providing internal customers with appropriate
specificity and lead time to create the ideal solution to grow revenue,
increase gross margins and to provide competitive pricing. The
position requires managing and facilitating worldwide engineering,
marketing and support efforts needed for continued growth this critical
business segment. This includes the recruiting, training, motivating
and developing a global support team and appropriate processes  to
meet the unique needs of the OEM customers. This individual, in
conjunction with Sales, needs to develop strategic goals linked to
Corporate initiatives and to develop the tactics for executing against
the strategy.    Other duties as needed. QualificationsLeadership, 
financially savvy, technically competent, skilled at influencing
without authority, relationship management, coaching ability;
demonstrated excellence in analytic, strategic and critical thinking;
thorough understanding and interest in the IT industry;  process
orientation, while being able to  "think out of the box" when
appropriate;  systems thinking with  outstanding
collaborative skills;  cultural sensitivity in managing and
influencing  a global business environment; excellent negotiation
skills.  Demonstrated ability to focus on customer satisfaction,
to provide quality and timely solutions; to build teams; to being
collaborative while maintaining profitability and/or inroads to
strategic segments of the market.  Essential requirement is to be
capable of thriving in a dynamic environment while engaging order,
continuous improvement and predictability in the fulfillment cycle. Education/ExperienceTechnical
undergraduate degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or
related technical field preferred; MBA a plus. 8+ years experience as a
successful manager in a high volume, technical product environment.
Management experience acceptable in technical, marketing or product
management.  Travel required both domestically and
internationally to visit OEM customers.  Salary and grade
will be commensurate with skills and experience
