Director, Marketing Communications

The Director, Marketing Communications reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for the development and execution for all Marketing Communications consistent with the SeaPass product and service positioning. The position will work with senior management to ensure development of an effective and consistent image and marketing/message strategy. The manager will recommend final creative execution for marketing communications for internal/external, customer/trade, print/broadcast and electronic communications. Responsibility includes advertising, PR, web site content and management, trade show content and deliverables, presentation content and creation and collateral material development. This position is also responsible for lead generation programs and direct mail campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

•Relevant experience in promoting awareness and developing business through PR highly desirable.
•Experience in developing advertising and sales collateral that is creatively inspired and results oriented.
•Has a record of effectively self managing in a similar business environment.
•A strong proactive self starter that is detail oriented and passionate about building a new business enterprise.

Education & Experience:

•B.S. degree, Liberal Arts or related field; M.B.A. a plus.
•Five plus years of relevant marketing experience on client side,
•Marketing Communications background and experience in a client company where the principal products are computer hardware or software systems/services and support of a sales force is an integral responsibility.
Insurance industry awareness or experience highly desirable.
