Director - Learning Platform Development

Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Lawson has offices and affiliates serving North and South America, Europe, and Africa.Job DescriptionThe Director, Learning Platform Development is a member of the Lawson Learning management team with global responsibility for achieving operational excellence in the design, development and production of Lawson's learning portfolio. This portfolio includes Online, Classroom and Certification offerings designed to build proficiency in the people who implement, support and use Lawson software. The Director needs to be process-oriented with a strong e-learning background and with proven experience managing global teams.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in related field
Outstanding written and presentation skills
Exceptional skills in developing motivated, self-directed and accountable individuals and teams
Exceptional skills in applying project management principles and process to time sensitive programs
10 or more years in business working in/for Fortune companies
5 or more years experience managing the design and development of interactive, online courseware
5 or more years experience managing multiple development teams
5 or more years experience applying adult learning methods to blended learning solutions
3 or more years experience in consulting or custom training developmentPreferred Qualifications:
Experience building a for-profit learning business in high-tech field
Experience in multiple Lawson verticals and product categories
Experience in senior learning management or professional services role at similar software company
Graduate level coursework/degree in e-learning design and strategy, or equivalent work experience
Experience building large software simulation courseware library
Experience developing and delivering courseware localized for international markets
Experience managing multiple development teams in the software or services
