Director, Global Marketing -To lead all global strategic processes related to pharmaceutical product launch/commercialization of products within assigned therapeutic area.Base Salary: $150,000.00 with a 20% bonus programLOCATION: Livingston, NJRelo Package availableJob description/ResponsibilitiesProvides strategic direction and resource allocation for the commercialization efforts of assigned therapeutic area. Responsible for P&L of brands and investments in post marketing studies. Obtains resources from shared global service providers such as sales, finance, market research, medical, human resources, etc. Interacts frequently and collaboratively with sales, managed markets and supply chain management leaders to effectively deliver results; interacts with the Global Venture Team leadership (GVT) on cross functional matters relating to the assigned therapeutic area.
Will assist Global Marketing Teams in relation to product forecasts and global rollouts. Reporting to this position will be responsible global brand directors and managers. Domestic/international travel required for business: approximately 45%.1. Direct strategic commercialization efforts for therapeutic area ensuring targeted development profit levels are achieved per brand worldwide.2. Manage the development and execution of global marketing programs for products as it relates to product launching.3. Collaborate with global areas of Sales, Managed Markets and Supply Chain leadership on strategic direction of product line and execution plans to ensure success.4. Oversee appropriate investments (resources, headcount, calls, marketing, studies) for brands within assigned therapeutic class.5. Implement global Marketing Plan for assigned products in G5 countries; provide input into Local Company Plan.6. Provide guidance for Business Development opportunities within therapeutic class and participates in evaluation of partnership possibilities.7. Collaborate on global Life Cycle Management strategies for brands within the
8. Implement global activities in marketing research and sales analysis for products within assigned class; adjust marketing/sales strategies and tactics, as appropriate.9. Coordinate post marketing study activities with global medical and/or clinical departments.10. Provide input into pricing and contracting.11. Consistently demonstrate XLence culture and behaviors.12. Perform all duties in accordance with the COMPANY’s Business Principles, corporate directives, SOPs and PPGs, government and industry regulations and guidelines.13. Perform other relevant tasks as determined by senior management.14. Will manage projects but NOT people REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS - BS/SA in Business, Marketing or relevant discipline (REQUIRED); Master’s degree in Business preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years relevant pharmaceutical experience in one of the major geographical pharmaceutical markets.
- At least five (5) years in multi-disciplinary roles as sales, marketing, business development/strategic planning and finance.
-Proven capabilities in strategic thinking, business orientation, quantitative and qualitative analysis and problem solving on a global level. -Clear understanding of the Pharmaceutical Development and Commercialization process worldwide. -A plus if there is experience and/or knowledge of the CNS/neuroscience market. -Experience with creativity and innovation in developing new approaches and methodologies. -Full proficiency in spoken and written in English language, proficiency in second major language preferred
-Proven project management and lifecycle management skills. -Excellent written and oral communication. -Ability to travel significantly both domestically and internationally: approximately 45%.
