Position:Regional Director, Client Services

Reports to: VP Client ServicesPosition Summary
The Regional Director will be responsible for the recruiting, deployment and servicing of all the physicians in a designated region targeted as part of either a health plan program or a large health care delivery system to enroll physicians to use RelayHealth with their members/patients. This individual will manage the executive relationships with the key medical groups and IPAs who have committed to rolling out the RelayHealth service. This role will also be responsible for hiring and managing the regional team of client services managers who support these efforts. The Director also has P&L responsibility for the region.This individual will work closely with the Regional Medical Group Sales Director and the Health Plan Sales Team in targeting new medical groups and health plans in their region. Additionally, this individual will work closely with the Provider Services executives at contracted Health Plans to set and achieve the physician deployment targets under the Health Plan program. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to effectively set, communicate and exceed targeted physician enrollment, revenue, and utilization results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basisThe role requires significant experience with rolling out health care technology products and comfort level working with physicians and their office staff. Strong technical expertise and workflow implementation experience are required.Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinating the collection of physician feedback on improvements to our product and/or service and communicating that input internally
P & L responsibility for the region.
Overseeing the delivery of medical group and IPA utilization and progress reports on monthly basis
Determining and delivering the billing and collections information to internal finance on a monthly basis (resolving any issues)
Playing a lead role in helping to standardize the physician deployment and servicing efforts of RelayHealth across multiple regions (working with other Client Services team members to share learning experiences and to leverage knowledge across the team)
Setting and reviewing quarterly and annual performance targets for team members and calculating bonus payments to those individuals
Addressing ad hoc revenue issues such as medical group renewals, custom deals, etc for the existing medical groups and physicians enrolled in RelayHealth
Identifying and managing the regional office, where applicableRequirements:
Demonstrated experience in leading technical implementations of Internet based services to physicians
Demonstrated project management skills in a professional services environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely and effectively with medical group customers
Strong health care experience
Experience hiring and managing employees
MBA from top business or management school
Ability to travel as requiredSoftware Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Significant Professional Internet ExperienceSupervisory Responsibility
