Director, Career Services

Corinthian Colleges, Inc., a publicly traded corporation (NASDAQ: COCO) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results-oriented Director of Career Services for our GEORGIA MEDICAL INSTITUTE-ATLANTA, GA campus.

General Duties:
Achieve placement results in each program which are
consistent with company guidelines and applicable regulatory agency standards
Organize and maintain documentation filed on all graduates and track placement rates for each program
Distribute, collect and summarize graduate and employer satisfaction surveys as required
Provide assistance through workshops, course instruction, or personal advisement in general career exploration, decision-making, resume writing and job search skills to students and graduates
Maintain an active lead generation system to ensure sufficient job opportunities are available for students and
graduates
Make recommendations regarding curricula and job skills needed in the workplace
Maintain active and positive relationships with employers, sponsor on-campus recruiting and participate in career fairs
Develop, coordinate and assist with externship and work related opportunities for students
Coordinate graduation ceremonies
Direct department staff in training, career advancement opportunities and develop department goals and measurements REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors degree is REQUIRED
3-5 years experience in business, sales or marketing
2+ years of management experience
Career Center or Human Resources experience preferred
Computer Job Board exeperience a must
Ability to interact with all levels of individuals Computer skills including MicroSoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented & Problem solver Ability to Multi-Task & Research skills
