The Director of Business Development has responsibility for providing leadership for the development of the Hospital’s business strategy, ensuring the successful implementation of tactical elements of the Hospital’s business initiatives. The Director of Business Development is responsible for directing and managing the planning, development and execution of strategic and comprehensive hospital marketing initiatives, business development and communications plans that support overall hospital objectives and goals as stated in business plans. This executive has responsibility for developing, directing, implementing and tracking all marketing plans including comprehensive analysis, research, creative development, media buying, budget development and agency/vendor interface. The Director has responsibility for developing, implementing, and tracking business development plans, as well as serving as an advisor and consultant on existing programs and plans.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required with advanced degree in Marketing, Health Administration or Business Administration preferred. Eight to ten years of healthcare marketing, business development and communications management experience with a multi-facility system, with at least 5 years of management experience and strong background in the healthcare service or hospital industry preferred.
