Lead team of promoted individuals with the goal of achieving individual and district product sales objectives across a broad portfolio. Plan, organize, and clearly communicate required promotional activities and standards of performance so that the above goals can be achieved in each POA. Assist AAM's in analyzing their territories, creating plans that will maximize results and be in line with Area and Zone business goals. Analyze sales reports and individual AAM business plans, objectives, and SWOT analyses to direct ongoing territory promotional efforts. Anticipate upcoming issues through analysis of current trends, and redirect effort that is future-oriented. Continually communicate and demonstrate company values so that AAM focus is consistent with the company's mission and vision; set a positive example for AAM's to follow. Provide coaching to each team member, designed to improve individual effectiveness and overall performance; help each individual improve product knowledge and selling skills. Monitor performance and implement improvement plans as needed, either individually or district-wide; keep individuals focused on business goals. Manage resource allocations with responsibility for good ROI by the AAM team. Assist Area Account Managers in advocate development, working as a liaison between sales, marketing, and hysicians/hospitals. Work with Brand Team members, Regional Account Managers, District Managers, and others to maintain existing business and develop new opportunities. Assist Area Business Director/Area Development Manager in Business Plan preparation, and help develop strategies and tactics that increase sales. Respond in a timely manner to special projects requested by Area Business Director, Marketing, Sales Planning, and Training. Maintain open communication with Area Office so that Area Business Director is aware of special circumstances and is routinely updated on issues affecting the business. Develop individual AAM's to take on additional responsibility in the organization.
This position will supervise approximately 8 -12 Area Account Manages.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 - 10 years pharmaceutical sales and management experience. Current or previous District
Manager experience is preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for
success.
Position can be based out of Minnesota, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
