Direct Mail Sales – Atlanta, GA

We are experiencing continued growth and are looking for an assertive, proactive, hands-on Sales Professional to join our team. This direct mail salesperson must possess exceptional communication skills to successfully interface with our customers, vendors and internal personnel; a highly defined sense of urgency to respond to our customers needs in a timely fashion; be able to shift gears with a moments notice; and believe in doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

The direct mail salesperson must possess excellent knowledge of direct mail and digital print products/services and pricing practices. Excellent selling skills. Professional appearance and presentation required.

This incumbent is responsible for generating revenue within a direct mail/printing company by closing sales. Sells products and services directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact. Usually responsible for moderately complex and somewhat difficult to close sales. Operates under general supervision. Job typically requires high level of local travel. Will report to Vice President of Sales.

• Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
• Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine needs.
• Creates and performs sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs.
• Sells products/services through face-to-face contact.
• Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
• Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
• Often responsible for the moderately complex and somewhat difficult to close sales.

• Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.
• Alerts client to new or improved products/services.
• Develops relationships with client through dinners, outings, etc.
• Relays client feedback to product development staff.

Candidates must be adaptable to small, high-energy, entrepreneurial environments. You must have the desire to learn and understand our clients’ needs and expectations. We offer a competitive salary, medical and dental plan.
