Provide phone and on-site technical support including problem of wide format digital print problems
Interface with distributors and manufacturers to build knowledge base for training and technical support
Train internals and customers on digital printing and most common problem solving solutions
Provide information for technical literature and training
Document problem solving activities
Develop commercial relationships with industry related manufacturers
Be the company's spokesperson at industry events and forums
Provide technical support and problem assessment for warranty claims

REQUIREMENTS
Digital Printing Specialist

Basic knowledge of digital printing on how wide-format printers work
Knowledge of digital printing processes including interaction of software, hardware, ink
Knowledge and skills to solve wide format digital printing problems & recommend solutions to fix the problem
Knowledge of pressure sensitive materials
Digital printing - how profile is made, how to adjust on at least 1 of 3 major software packages for machine and ink load settings on at least 1 of targeted printers
Materials, why they work and characteristics that affect printing performance
Materials, knowledge of adhesives, printing films, laminating materials
Skills in using software including Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with graphic design and printer RIP software for wide-format digital printers
Ability to set up, fix wide format digital printers
College degree any field, prefer technical or printing degree
Minimum 3-5 years technical or production experience with preference for digital wide-format printing and technical training or problem solving
