Diagnostic Specialist

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, TransportationFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: Responsible for the analysis of data acquired remotely, or through various other sources, for the purpose of troubleshooting locomotives and related systems in a dedicated team environment (7x24 Operation). Acquire key parameter, fault and incident data and employ software tools to formulate detailed troubleshooting recommendations.
Make direct contact with customers and field teams to insure recommendations are understood and that other opportunities for service are identified.
Identify and assist in execution of opportunities for productivity and performance enhancements.
Assist with various reliability projects, as necessary, in support of the business.
Identify product deficiencies and provide feedback to the Engineering team.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: BS Engineering.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with Dash-9, AC4400 , AC6000 and Evolution Series Locomotives.
Willing to work various shifts with various rest days.Desired: Familiar with railroad operations and maintenance practices.
