Development/Public Relations SpecialistThe Miami Jewish Home and Hospital is seeking a qualified Development/PR Specialist to join the largest, most comprehensive not-for-profit, non-sectarian, geriatric healthcare center in the Southeast U.S. to perform PR functions for the Development Department.This is an exciting unique opportunity for a development team member to work with specialized and socially-oriented support groups.
Several responsibilities of the job include:Assist with researching content, writing and editing speeches in a timely manner.
Coordinate logistical details, time lines, purchases of all public relations, including placement, advertorial publicity, display ads, etc.
Coordinate production of collateral public relations and fund-raising materials.
Provide editorial services at support group events.
Provide photographic services at support group events.

REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a Bachelor's degree of Arts or related field plus 2-3 years professional experience in public relations or journalism or three years as a media point-person.Knowledge of regional media outlets
Knowledge of South Florida philanthropic communities
