Development Manager-Multifamily

Client is a leading development and management firm, based in Orlando. We need an experienced Development Executive to oversee all aspects of the pre-development and development process for various types of multi-family projects. These include high-rise condominiums, garden style apartments, new urbanism/dense mixed use projects and more.

Job Description:
Responsible for all aspects of pre-development and development to successful completion and sign-off of project
Create and/or review contracts, blueprints, schedules, scopes of work and all contract documents
Lead a development team consisting of architects, land planners, city and Government officials, construction,lenders, etc. to put together successful projects
Oversee scheduling and team meetings- estimates and budgets including offering project direction, change orders, RFI's.
Complete feasibility and due diligence process, create proformas, work with management to create a successful product.
Manage the day to day development process and report directly to the VP of Development
Oversee project to successful completion including, change orders, and document and communicate all correspondence during project progression
Interact with multiple levels of associates and project teams w/in the company for successful project completions including representing company at pre-development and construction meetings
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience as a development manager or assistant development manager overseeing multi-family, hotel, or commercial development projects Must be an organized individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft project and excel,and ability to read and understand blue-prints Strong financial and negotiating skills Ability to interact within multiple layers of team in order to complete a successful project Ability to multi-task
