DISTRICT SALES MANAGER- NAPA Under Car

The NAPA Under Car Group of Genuine Parts Company is seeking a District
Sales Manager to develop new customers and expand sales to established
accounts. This is a unique opportunity to join an aggressive,
entrepreneurial, high energy sales team that has the support and
opportunities of, an 8 billion dollar company, Genuine Parts.

Genuine Parts Company, founded in 1928, is a service organization
engaged in the distribution of automotive replacement parts, industrial
replacement parts, office products, and electrical/electronic
materials. The company serves numerous customers from more than 1,800
operations and has approximately 33,000 employees.

The District Sales Manager, DSM, will take command of a 7 figure sales
territory that is their responsibility to grow. This is accomplished
through several activities:
• Sales calls to NAPA Stores and their respective dealer
customers inform them of programs and sales opportunities.
• Training clinics educate the NAPA Store and their customers on
the features and benefits of our products.
• Working with the NAPA Distribution Center to facilitate the
sale of NAPA Under Car products.
The DSM will have a solid support structure of training and programs.
However, it will be their personal drive, creativity and
professionalism that will deliver the quota breaking results.

The DSM is provided with a competitive salary plus bonus that awards
achievement. The tools provided to accomplish the job include:
company car, expense report and laptop computer.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have either a college degree or relevant sales experience. The candidate must have a proven track record of setting goals and achieving them. We are a results oriented organization that holds each other accountable for our success. The District Sales Manager must be self motivated and capable of working without constant supervision.

Oral and written communication skills are critical to success in this position. A District Sales Manager is expected to by able to speak in front of groups and construct effective letters and presentations. The ability to converse equally well with executives and blue collar workers is important.
Computer skills are imperative. Experience with Lotus Notes, Excel, Word and Power Point would be helpful.
